VoteColumbiaStation.Com's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What is the purpose of creating this website?
A: After trying to search the Internet for information concerning the upcoming ballot issues and the current Columbia Station candidates for various positions, we found little to nothing.  Therefore, we set out to create a simple easy to use informational website that would cover these topics and allow other Columbia Station residents to easily locate this information themselves.

Q: Is the accuracy of the information guaranteed and presented in a non-biased way from what sources?
A:
This website is provided as a free non-biased informational service for residents of Columbia Station, Ohio.  No guarantees or warranties whatsoever are made to the accuracy of the information provided within this website.  All information contained within this website was acquired either directly from the candidates themselves, the Columbia Town Hall, or from other public information sources.

Q: Why can I not hear the various candidates within the video?
A: Many people do not realize that there are up to three different and separate volume controls within their computer.  First, there may be an actual volume control nob on their speakers, if you use external speakers with your computer, that must be turned up or down according to your preference.  Second, there is a volume control within Microsoft Windows that can be found under Start->Programs->Accessories->Entertainment->Volume Control which you can click and drag to increase or decrease the volume.  Third, there is a volume control bar located within RealPlayer that you can click and drag to increase or decrease the volume.  All of these volume controls are separate so they must as be adjusted to your preference when watching an on-line video.
